Mathura resident Ramveer Singh was admitted to a hospital in Jaipur complaining of jaundice, where jaundice was reduced by inserting a stent in the bile duct. But after a few days the problem recurred. After this he showed it to gastro surgeon Dr. Nitin Goyal. Investigation confirmed cancer in the bile duct. After curing the jaundice, it was decided to operate. After a ten-hour operation, the cancerous part was removed. He claims that till now such operations have not been done in Mathura.
Dr. Nitin Goyal, senior gastro surgeon of The Gastro Care Clinic, Ashoka City, has set a record by operating cancer in the large intestine with laparoscopic surgery. The 55-year- old patient, a resident of Mant, was suffering from abdominal pain, flatulence and anaemia. After investigation, cancer was confirmed in the large intestine. After this, Dr. Goyal along with his team got rid of the patient's trouble by operating with binocular method. He told that this facility is available in the clinic at a low cost.
